New Jersey Books buys back books all year 'round! Unfortunately, we are unable to buy back your books on this Web site. Our prices are based on supply and demand but condition is a factor too. If we have a book order for a particular book, and we need more copies, you may be offered as much as 50% of the new book price (67% of the used price). It doesn't matter if your book was originally purchased new or used, or which store or school it was purchased from. What does matter is whether we need the book. If we do not have a book order, and there is no in store demand, the buyback price will be based on a national demand, which can be significantly less. Generally, the best time to sell your books is during the week of final exams.
We require a valid COLLEGE ID to buy books. Books can be worth a lot of cash, so protect yourself by discreetly marking your books on a random page number that only you know. This will help us identify your book if someone other than its rightful owner attempts to sell it to us.

Just go to our textbook counter in the back and our our knowledgeable staff will assist you.
Please bring a printout of your schedule of classes for speedy service.
Buying your books online:
Just go to course materials and choose the books you would like to order. First select DEPARTMENT (Subject), then select your COURSE with SECTION number.
Returns Policy:
Texts are returnable one week from the first day of classes.
All texts must be in the condition purchased (mint condition if purchased new, and shrink-wrapt if purchased thusly). You must have your register receipt to return any purchase!
--There will be no exceptions to the above!
